MyKnowledgeMap’s Myprogress workplace-based assessment and e-portfolio app has been updated. The latest app has some great new features that we’re excited to share with you here! The app works on both phones and tablets, and can be downloaded from the Apple or Android App Store.
The award-winning app works offline, to ensure that practice assessments can take place anytime, anywhere without technical difficulties interrupting the quality of the assessment.
Uniquely, dashboards can be configured by the institution to reflect the reporting requirements of each specific discipline or programme. As a result, Myprogress has experience of supporting numerous disciplines such as Nursing, Midwifery, Medicine, Veterinary Science, Dentistry, Radiography, Paramedicine, Occupational Therapy, ODP, and more.
Myprogress supports regulatory bodies' frameworks, to ensure that students meet the required proficiencies when they complete their course.
One of the biggest changes is to the user interface. The way a student navigates around their dashboard has become more intuitive as the way their assessments are visualised now more closely reflects their programme.
The student's dashboard gives an instant overview of where they are on their course, and how many of their required hours they have logged. A students’ app is a direct reflection of their course, and placement tracking ensures users get a ‘current’ view of assessments to be completed.
It’s simple for students to capture practice hours, as you can see in the image below.
At MyKnowledgeMap, we understand how busy Practitioners are, so have streamlined the assessment forms and sign-off process to be as straightforward as possible, whilst ensuring integrity.
Professionals supporting students on a placement can carry out assessments on learners with ease in the heat of the moment with a patient thanks to the user-friendly interface and makes giving feedback simple through compatibilities such as speech-to-text.
Some other features include:
MyKnowledgeMap’s Myprogress solution is now used by approximately 50% of UK Nursing students, and an increasing number in Australia, Singapore, USA and Europe. It is also the supplier to the UK General Medical Council for their PLAB examinations including the OSCE.
The Myprogress solution has won various international awards and in 2020 was shortlisted by the Times Higher Education Supplement for “Digital Innovation of the Year”.
