The National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP) has adopted the Openbadges.me platform to distribute digital credentials across all 50 states in the USA. NABP will be using Open Badges to verify pharmacy business that meet the highest standards of pharmacy practice.
NABP is a non-profit association that protects public health in the USA by assisting its member boards of pharmacy and offering programs that promote safe pharmacy practices for the benefit of consumers. Working with Openbadges.me, NABP is launching their badging program to verify pharmacy businesses that have achieved NABP accreditation.
The Association pledges to protect public health within the United States which is supported through NABP's programs and services such as the Digital Pharmacy, Compounding Pharmacy and DMEPOS Pharmacy Accreditation programs, among others.
Pharmacy businesses that are licensed and meet the high standards needed to earn accreditation will be awarded an Open Badge to display on their webpage, blog, social media accounts and more.
