MyKnowledgeMap is incredibly proud to be shortlisted with Anglia Ruskin University (ARU) School of Nursing for the 2020 Times Higher Education Award in the ‘Digital Innovation of the Year’ category.
Since a successful pilot in 2015, Anglia Ruskin University has been supporting 2000 student nurses across 200 placement areas with MyKnowledgeMap’s practice-based assessment platform, Myprogress. Having worked in close partnership for the last five years, support for student nurses at ARU has gone from strength to strength and has led to a prominent decrease in attrition rates from over 25% to just 5%. Against the backdrop of current global challenges and COVID-19, supporting student nurses through to qualifying is more vital than ever. MyKnowledgeMap is proud that the partnership with Anglia Ruskin University and this commendable project is recognised through being shortlisted at the Times Higher Education Awards.
We are very proud that our partnership with Anglia Ruskin and the commendable work we have been carrying out to support student nurses across the region is gaining such recognition. The ongoing support for student nurses in practice is our mission and being shortlisted for Digital Innovation of the Year is testament to the great work we are carrying out with ARU and our partnering Nursing Schools across the UK" says Rob Arntsen, Chairman at MyKnowledgeMap.
Going forward, collaboration with Anglia Ruskin continues with the launch of the new Myprogress ePAD platform to support the new NMC standards. ARU’s trailblazing approach is also now being adopted by other universities, ultimately benefiting the NHS by reducing the costs of attrition and addressing the UK’s shortage of qualified nurses.
