Australian Medical Council Partners with MyKnowledgeMap

A National ePortfolio for Prevocational Doctors in Australia

We are thrilled to announce that MyKnowledgeMap has been chosen by a national board of Australian prevocational medical education accreditation authorities and departments of health to work with the Australian Medical Council to develop a national MyProgress ePortfolio system. This innovative ePortfolio will support the training of thousands of Postgraduate Year 1 and Year 2 (PGY1 and PGY2) prevocational doctors in every Australian state and territory, ensuring a consistent and well supported approach to medical training.

The MyProgress ePortfolio will provide an effective approach to documenting the achievements of prevocational doctors as they transition through critical early stages of their careers. The intuitive, user-friendly platform allows prevocational doctors to record their experiences against the National Framework for Prevocational Medical Training and to receive timely feedback from supervisors. Critically, the tool also features offline capabilities on mobile devices to ensure uninterrupted access, ideal for rural locations where internet access is unreliable.

Development of the ePortfolio has begun and we look forward to updating you further in due course!
